God Detests Disbelievers

It is criminal and punishable to disbelieve the prophecy of God.God loves individuals who are passionately unwavering to His words.

When God proclaims His words concerning a situation, all he  expects from us is to accept those words as true and binding. We are not permitted to waver in unbelief.

Let's briefly consider the story of Zacharias in the book of Luke Chapter 1. Zacharias, a man filled with the spirit of God displayed a high level of disbelief and got punished for such act. Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth have been childless for several years and God has decided to pay them a visit.God has settled their case and he has designated Angel Gabriel to carry out the divine assignment. When Angel Gabriel relayed God's message of glad tidings  to Zacharias, he wallowed in disbelief and said:
Luke 1:18 KJV
"And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years."
The Angel got furious and instantly made him dumb.Angel Gabriel assured Zacharias of his speech only when all the prophecies had come to be.

 Luke 1:20 KJV
"And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season."

Interestingly, Zacharias suffered an untoward punishment of dumbness for about  9 months owing to his unbelief. Let's exercise faith towards the word of God.For it is written in Hebrews 11:6 KJV
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
